'Game of Thrones': Breaking down the series finale

Patrick Varine

***WARNING: SPOILERS THROUGH THE FINAL EPISODE OF ‘GAME OF THRONES’***

We made it!

As the world’s online “Thrones” forums burn with the intensity of a thousand hot takes on the series finale, the final season and a wide variety of other Westerosi topics, we sit down to dive into “The Iron Throne,” the series finale.

Next week, we’ll take a few steps back to look at the series as a whole and discuss our favorite scenes, favorite characters, and our thoughts on the upcoming prequel series.

What are your thoughts on the series? Leave us a comment or a discussion point for next week.

In the immortal words of Lord Commander Jeor Mormont (RIP), now our watch has ended.

Except, of course, for when we all re-watch the series in about two months because we’re going through “Thrones” withdrawal.
