John Mayer performs on Feb. 20 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

John Mayer fans will have wait a few more months to see him in concert in Pittsburgh.

The John Mayer SOB ROCK Tour 2022 performance scheduled for Friday night at PPG Paints Arena has been rescheduled for May 5.

Mayer shared on social media Thursday that he and other band members have tested positive for covid-19, resulting in four tour dates being rescheduled.

“Whelp. More members of the band tested positive for Covid today, and I was one of them,” Mayer wrote.

This is the second time Mayer has announced he’s tested positive for covid.

Performances at Belmont Park, N.Y., and two shows in Boston also have been postponed.
