Taylor Swift gives $55M in big bonuses to Eras tour staff
Pop star Taylor Swift recently shelled out more than $55 million in bonuses to her crew members on the heels of her sold-out Eras Tour, according to People magazine.
From caterers to dancers, sound technicians to production staff, Swift gifted her tour employees hefty checks — including $100,000 “end of the tour” bonuses to about 50 tour truck drivers, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Swift made a monumental monetary impact in Pittsburgh with her two sold-out concerts in June at Acrisure Stadium. She generated $46 million in direct spending in Pittsburgh, according to tourism agency Visit Pittsburgh.
Her June 17 concert set an attendance record at Acrisure Stadium with 73,117 fans in the audience, according to stadium officials.
Her 52-concert tour visited 20 cities since May.
