Children can go through the looking glass with Gemini Children’s Theater for an online “Alice in Wonderland” adventure.

The McKees Rocks-based theater has posted a video and series of activities based on Lewis Carroll’s classic children’s story.

Suggested for children ages 3 and up, the video fearturing members of the company starts with Alice having trouble with homework that requires her to use her imagination. She follows a white rabbit to Wonderland, where she makes new friends and helps them with their problems as they all learn about teamwork, acceptance, manners and bullying.

There’s also a video in which the Queen of Hearts teaches children to make apple tarts.

Related activities include a tea party with a printable place mat, cucumber sandwich recipe, etiquette rules, games and activities, along with a crossword puzzle, word search and coloring page.

The theater previously posted a pop-up pirate-themed video and related activities.
