The Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce is looking for scenic shots from the eastern end of Westmoreland County, to include in the organization’s 2020 calendar.

Photos are needed to represent each of the four seasons, but they must be submitted by April 22. They must be of recognizable locations in the Ligonier Valley and can include landscapes, landmarks or special events, among other subjects.

“We are always looking for the ‘wow’ photo that sets the tone for the entire calendar, and I’m sure we won’t be disappointed,” said chamber Executive Director Scott Haines.

All photos submitted for the calendar contest must be in color, either high-quality prints or high-resolution digital images on CD. Photos displaying watermarks may be disqualified.

Thirteen winners will be notified by May 31. In addition to having their work showcased in the calendar and potentially in other chamber publications, each will receive a $25 cash prize and a copy of the calendar.

Submit photos to the Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce, 120 E. Main Street, Ligonier, PA 15658.

Prints or CDs must be labeled with the photographer’s name, address and phone number.
