A look at each of the homicides that have taken place in Allegheny County so far in 2022:

Jan. 1: Amariey Lei

Amariey Lei, 19, was found shot to death in Wilkinsburg. LGBTQ advocacy groups have said this appears to be the nation’s first killing of a trans person in 2022.

Jan. 1: Rochella Anderson

Rochella Anderson, 49, was found dead under a hotel bed in Monroeville. The Allegheny County Coroner’s Office ruled she died from blunt force and incised trauma. Matthew Gribschaw, 37, of Irwin is charged with homicide in the incident. Gribschaw pleaded guilty but mentally ill on a third-degree murder count on Nov. 4, 2024, and was sentenced to serve at least 7.5 years in state prison on Jan. 30, 2025.

Jan. 8: Crystal Leschner

The body of Crystal Leschner, 38, of Knoxville was found in a suitcase in a shed behind a home in Pittsburgh’s Knoxville neighborhood. Montel Reed, 26, of Pittsburgh has been charged with criminal homicide.

Jan. 19: Marquis Campbell

Marquise Campbell, 15, of Pittsburgh died of multiple gunshot wounds after at least one person opened fired on the school van he was sitting in outside Oliver Citywide Academy in Marshall-Shadeland. Pittsburgh Police arrested Eugene Watson, 18, and Brandon Watson, 17, in April 2023 and charged them with criminal homicide. Eugene Watson pleaded guilty to third-degree murder in October 2023 and could face up to 40 years in prison, with sentencing set for Jan. 25, 2024.

Jan. 19: Rachel Dowden

Rachel Dowden, 28, of Pittsburgh’s South Side was fatally shot not long after leaving her workplace for the night. Police believe she was shot to death with her own handgun from an ex she had a protection from abuse order against. Deangelo Zieglar, 25, of the Hill District has been charged with homicide.

Jan. 20: Joshua Hamilton

Joshua Hamilton, 19, of Carnegie was found suffering a gunshot wound to the neck and upper trunk in a residence Pittsburgh’s Allentown section. The criminal complaint say a witness heard arguing between the two men, who had guns because they were going to a shooting range. James Linnert, 19, of St. Clair has been charged with criminal homicide.

Jan. 22: Jorden L. Puskar

Jorden Lee Puskar, 21, of Coraopolis was fatally shot in an Avalon apartment. Samuel Lee Tolfa, 32, of Hopewell has been charged with criminal homicide.

Jan. 23: Ashley L. Roberts

Ashley L. Roberts, 34, no hometown given, died after being shot and struck by a vehicle. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office said she was shot, and police said she was also struck by a vehicle. Alec Stefanovits of Mt. Lebanon pleaded guilty to third-degree murder on Jan. 28, 2025, and was sentenced to serve 18 to 36 years in state prison.

Feb. 8: James Jeffries

James R. Jeffries, 30, of Pittsburgh was found fatally shot inside a home in Pittsburgh’s East Hills. Tyreace Platt, 27, has been charged with criminal homicide.

Feb. 12: John L. Taylor Jr.

John Larnell Taylor Jr., 42, of Pittsburgh was found with multiple gunshot wounds in Homewood and died at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Feb. 12: Christina Spicuzza

Christina Spicuzza, 38, of Turtle Creek was found on a hillside near Pioneer Park in Monroeville, a day after her family reported she never came home from working as an Uber driver. Calvin Crew, 22, of Penn Hills has been charged with criminal homicide and other charges.

Feb. 17: Keith Glaser

Keith Glaser, 51, of McKees Rocks was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds of the trunk and extremities on Feb. 5 in McKees Rocks and died Feb. 17 at Allegheny General Hospital. Khaream Miller, 23, of McKees Rocks pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter on Oct. 3 and was ordered to serve three to six years in state prison.

Feb. 23: Teron Williams

Teron Williams, 18, of Pittsburgh was found with a gunshot wound to his back in Pittsburgh’s Bon Air neighborhood and later died at UPMC Mercy Hospital. Michael Morgan and Tymair Cox, both 18, have been charged with homicide.

Feb. 25: Jason Chavis

Jason Chavis, 25, of Monroeville was found with a woman and a juvenile male, shot multiple times, in a vehicle in Homestead. Chavis later died at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Feb. 27: Amari Mitchell

Amari Mitchell, 18, of Braddock died two days after being shot in the head and trunk along with Jason Chavis and a juvenile male in Homestead.

Feb. 27: Allen R. Parker

Allen Richard Parker III, 31, of Pittsburgh was found shot to death in Homewood.

March 2: Durell L. Lipford

Durell L. Lipford, 34, of Pittsburgh died after being shot in the city’s Homewood North neighborhood.

March 7: Cha Ron Guyton

Cha Ron Guyton, 25, of Pittsburgh was shot and killed in Pittsburgh’s Hill District.

March 8: Maurice Cole

Maurice Cole, 21, died at UPMC Mercy Hospital after being shot in Pittsburgh’s Hazelwood neighborhood. Police say Cole fled the scene before being stopped on the Homestead High Level Bridge and being transported to the hospital.

March 13: Anthony Lofton

Anthony Lofton, 22, of Pittsburgh was found dead in a McKees Rocks alley. Police say his girlfriend, Brook Lynn Lank, 24, of the North Side, shot Lofton after an argument. Lank is charged with criminal homicide.

March 13: Johnnie L. Higgins

Johnnie Lee Higgins, 58, of Homewood died of multiple gunshot wounds of the head, trunk and extremities after being found shot in Homewood.

March 17: Edwin R. Green

Edwin R. Green, 47, of Verona died at a local hospital after being shot in the trunk in Wilmerding. Jason E. Grubb, 47, of North Versailles faces a criminal homicide charge.

March 18: Willis Brooks

Willis Brooks, 30, of Duquesne was found shot in the head in Pittsburgh’s Knoxville neighborhood. Akeyba Sanchez, 23, of Rankin has been charged with criminal homicide.

March 19: Adam Cloud

Adam Cloud, 29, of New Kensington died from multiple gunshot wounds to the trunk after a fight outside a skateboard shop in Pittsburgh South Side Flats neighborhood. Police arrested Zahvair Palmer, 21, of McKeesport, on June 7 on a criminal homicide charge.

March 22: Tiwand Hill

Tiwand Reese Hill, 45, of Pittsburgh died from gunshot wounds to the upper and lower extremities in a Hill District apartment.

March 23: Travis G. Sanner

Travis George Sanner, 38, of North Versailles was found shot to death in North Versailles. Samuel Trusso, 40, of Irwin is charged with homicide after police say he shot and killed Sanner, his estranged wife’s boyfriend. Trusso then shot himself but is expected to survive.

March 29: Devonte White

Devonte White, 29, of Wilkinsburg was found with multiple gunshot wounds in Pittsburgh’s Brookline neighborhood.

March 30: Dayvon Vickers

Dayvon Vickers, 15, of Pittsburgh died after being shot in the head while riding his mini bike in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood. Shaun Scott, 18, of Wilkinsburg has been charged with criminal homicide.

March 30: Micah Stoner

Micah Stoner, 23, of Pittsburgh was found in Mt. Washington with a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at UPMC Mercy.

April 3: Michael E. Flaherty

Michael E. Flaherty, 48, of Pittsburgh was found with a gunshot wound to the chest in a Carrick residence. Elijah Terry-Smith, 23, has been charged with homicide.

April 11: Kane Hines

Kane Hines, 19, of Pittsburgh died after being shot in Pittsburgh’s Hill District.

April 13: Tyree Young

Tyree Young, 30, of McKees Rocks died in a Pittsburgh hospital after being shot in the chest in the Orchard Park Housing Complex in Duquesne. A woman, who had suffered facial injuries, was armed and remained at the scene, police said.

April 16: Donald Hammond

Donald Hammond, 31, of Pittsburgh died at Allegheny General Hospital after being shot in Pittsburgh’s Woods Run neighborhood.

April 17: Jaiden Brown

Jaiden Brown, 17, of East Allegheny died at a Pittsburgh hospital after being shot at a party at a rented house in Pittsburgh’s North Side.

April 17: Mathew Steffy-Ross

Mathew Steffy-Ross, 17, of Pitcairn died at a Pittsburgh hospital after being shot at a party at a rented house in Pittsburgh’s North Side.

April 19: Paris Glover

Paris Glover, 21, of Pittsburgh was found dead inside a Wilkinsburg home after a shooting.

April 19: Avante D. Booker

Avante Donovan Booker, 17, was found dead inside a Wilkinsburg home.

April 22: Michael Gunter

Michael Gunter, 22, of McKeesport was found with multiple gunshot wounds in McKeesport and later died at UMPC Mercy. Vernon Dean Eutsey, 25, of Pittsburgh has been charged with homicide. Gunter was arrested on Sept. 13, 2023.

April 25: Robert Williams

Robert Devaughn Williams, 36, of New Kensington was found shot to death in a Springdale home. Morgan Kurpakus, 24, of Springdale was also found dead in the home, and the coroner’s office ruled her death a suicide.

May 1: Rasheed A. McKamey

Rasheed A. McKamey, 28, of the Hill District died after being stabbed multiple times during a domestic dispute, police said. Angela Stewart, 34, has been charged with homicide.

May 1: Cornell P. Lee Jr.

Cornell P. Lee Jr., 37, of Pittsburgh died at UPMC Shadyside after being shot multiple times in Wilkinsburg while he was being robbed, according to a witness in the police report. Devin Lee Martin, 16, of Pittsburgh has been charged with homicide in connection with the death.

May 4: Javelle Smith

Javelle Smith, 27, of Pittsburgh was found shot in the head outside an apartment complex in West Mifflin. He was taken to UPMC Mercy, where he died.

May 5: Shayne Evan Strader

Shayne Evan Strader, 37, of Penn Hills was found shot to death, with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and back, in a car in Pittsburgh’s North Side neighborhood.

May 8: Daryll Stone

Daryll Stone, 53, died several days after being attacked with a baseball bat on April 29 in Pittsburgh’s Brighton Heights neighborhood.

May 9: Isaiah D. Anderson

Isaiah Dennis Anderson, 17, of Pittsburgh died from gunshot wounds to the trunk in front of a market in Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood. Joseph Koller, 20, of Sewickley has been charged with homicide. Nazair Macon, 17, of Pittsburgh has also been charged with criminal homicide in the shooting.

May 12: Robert Kraft

Robert Kraft, 2, of Munhall died after ingesting fentanyl in an apartment where police say they found thousands of empty stamp bags of heroin and fentanyl. The boy’s parents, Robert Kraft, 39, and Paige Hufnagel, 28, have been charged with criminal homicide. The elder Kraft was convicted of third-degree murder by a jury in 2024 and Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Jennifer Satler ordered him to serve 25 to 50 years in prison on Oct. 28, 2024. On Dec. 16, 2024, Hufnagel was sentenced to serve four to eight years in prison after pleading guilty in September 2024 to three counts of endangering the welfare of children.

May 20: Ibrahim Diallo

Ibrahim Diallo, 20, was found dead in the passenger seat of a car in Versailles. Tyrique Simmons, 21, of McKeesport is charged with homicide. Police said he was upset that an ex-girlfriend was driving co-workers home from work, so he followed them, rammed the car and ultimately shot and killed the man in her passenger seat, Diallo. Simmons pleaded guilty to third-degree murder on Nov. 14, 2024, and will serve 35 to 70 years in state prison.

May 29: De’Avry Thomas

De’Avry Thomas, 1, of Pittsburgh died after being shot in a drive-by shooting in Downtown Pittsburgh. Londell Falconer, 26, has been charged with homicide, while Markez Anger, 23, also faces homicide and conspiracy charges. In June 2023, Falconer and Anger were found guilty of first-degree murder and other charges. On Sept. 12, 2023, Falconer and Anger were sentenced to life in prison without parole.

June 1: Glenn Davenport

Glenn Tyrone Davenport III, 34, of Pittsburgh died of gunshot wounds sustained in an early-morning shooting in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood. Khatrell Haynes-Morgan, 19, of Pittsburgh has been charged with criminal homicide and other charges. Haynes was sentenced to 17.5 to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to third-degree murder and aggravated assault in a plea deal in June 2023.

June 8: Sharay Newson

Sharay Newson, 40, of Pittsburgh was found dead in her Hazelwood home after being stabbed multiple times in her neck. Her husband John Newson, who was wanted in connection with Sharay Newson’s death, was found dead a few days later of a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound in a Philadelphia home.

June 10: Isiah Paillett

Isiah Paillett, 46, of Pitsburgh died at a Pittsburgh hospital after being shot several times in the chest in Knoxville.

June 12: Daevon Eggleston

Daevon Eggleston, 24, of Troy Hill died in a shooting in Pittsburgh’s Manchester neighborhood.

June 14: Shawn Brookins

Shawn Brookins, 27, of Verona was found fatally shot inside his Penn Hills home. Allegheny County Police arrested Brandin Demonde Jackson, 30, of Wilkinsburg on July 29, 2022, as a suspect in the case.

June 17: Alec Wilbur

Alec Gary Wilbur, 31, was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in Pittsburgh’s Knoxville neighborhood.

June 17: Robert Dietrich

Robert Dietrich, 78, of Kennedy Township died after being shot several times with a shotgun by his neighbor who then killed himself. Charles Collins, 58, who lived next door, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

June 18: Dominque Rucker

Dominque Rucker, 31, of McKeesport died at a Pittsburgh hospital after being shot in the head in Pittsburgh’s Northview Heights neighborhood.

June 19: Marvin D. Matthews

Marvin Dewit Matthews Jr., 19, of Braddock died from multiple gunshot wounds to the trunk after an altercation in a Braddock residence. William Shelton, 19, of Braddock has been charged with criminal homicide.

June 21: Jeremy Stevens

Jeremy Monroe Stevens, 33, of Pittsburgh was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds of the trunk in the city’s North Side.

June 24: Maleek Thomas

Maleek Thomas, 18, of Pittsburgh died at UPMC Mercy after being shot in the torso outside the Bedford Dwellings apartments in Pittsburgh’s Hill District. Shaun Scott, 18, of Wilkinsburg has been charged with criminal homicide.

June 26: Joseph Mitchell

Joseph Mitchell, 39, of East Allegheny died at Pittsburgh hospital after being shot in an unknown location.

June 28: Shaquan Cox

Shaquan Cox, 23, of Ingram Borough died at a Pittsburgh hospital after being found shot in McKees Rocks.

June 29: William Dykes

William Earl Dykes, 33, of Rankin died at UPMC Mercy from a gunshot wound to the trunk after being shot in Rankin.

July 1: Darrian Davis

Darrian Davis, 18, of West Homestead died at a local hospital after being shot in Pittsburgh’s Hazelwood neighborhood. Two other people were injured in the shooting. Quentin Primus, 24, of Munhall was found guilty of first-degree murder in January 2024 and will spend the rest of his life in prison. In March 2024, Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Anthony M. Mariani ordered Primus to serve another 43 years in prison beyond the life term.

July 3: Charles Stipetich

Charles G. Stipetich, 23, of Pittsburgh, an off-duty Oakdale police officer, died after being shot in an apparent road-rage incident in Blawnox. Kevin McSwiggen, 42, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to 20 to 40 years in prison on Dec. 5, 2024, after being convicted by a jury of third-degree murder.

July 14: Dennis Winger

Dennis P. Winger, 39, of North Versailles died from a gunshot wound to the trunk after being found in the driver’s seat of a car in the Hill District.

July 17: Isaiah Sterdivant

Isaiah Sterdivant, 22, of Pittsburgh was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds in Pittsburgh’s Larimer neighborhood.

July 19: Keith Wicks

Keith Wicks, 39, of McKees Rocks died at Allegheny General Hospital after being shot while in a car in McKees Rocks.

July 24: Kyle Wilson

Kyle Wilson, 28, was found shot inside a vehicle in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood and later died at a local hospital.

July 24: Alon Carrington

Alon Carrington, 38, of North Braddock was found shot in Braddock and transported to Forbes Regional Hospital, where he later died.

Aug. 1: Prentis Hutchinson

Prentis Hutchinson, 35, of Avalon was found by police with multiple gunshot wounds on Pittsburgh’s North Shore. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Aug. 7: Stephone Drayton

Stephone Drayton, 40, of Pittsburgh died after being shot in the chest, and three other people were injured, in a shooting in Pittsburgh’s California-Kirkbride neighborhood. Heze’kiah Nixon, 16, of Pittsburgh has been charged with criminal homicide

Aug. 8: Alexander Kowalyk

Alexander Kowalyk, 16, of Etna was shot in the head in Pittsburgh’s Uptown and Bluff neighborhood and later died at an area hospital.

Aug. 11: John R. Angel

John R. Angel, 55, of Monroeville died from a gunshot wound to the chest after being shot by a ride-share driver after an altercation between the two, according to police.

Aug. 14: Leonard S. Morris-Graham

Leonard S. Morris-Graham, 29, of Pittsburgh was shot in the chest and abdomen in North Braddock before dying at at local hospital. An arrest warrant for criminal homicide has been issued for Jamir Washington-Morgan, 20, who was arrested Dec. 2, 2022.

Tayrod Euegene Ford, 40, was found shot to death in the stairwell of an apartment building in Pittsburgh’s Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood.

Aug. 18: Maricco Randolph

Maricco Randolph, 32, of Duquesne died from gunshot wounds to the trunk and legs after being shot inside a vehicle in McKeesport.

Aug. 18: Duane Peter

Duane Peter, 50, of McKees Rocks died in a shooting in McKees Rocks in which another man was wounded.

Aug. 27: Lyndale Irish-Knight

Lyndale Irish-Knight, 24, of North Versailles died after being shot in the torso in North Versailles.

Aug. 30: Timothy Coates

Timothy Coates, 20, was found with a gunshot wound to the head inside a vehicle in Mt. Oliver and died at the scene. Daleron Newman, 22, of Pittsburgh has been charged with criminal homicide.

Sept. 1: Damien Jackson

Damien Jackson, 29, of Homestead died after being shot in the chest in an East Hills apartment. Toddia Smiley, 25, of Pittsburgh has been charged with criminal homicide, with police saying she admitted to the shooting after a night of drinking with Jackson and his sister.

Sept. 2: Lajaponis Roberts

Lajaponis Roberts, 14, of Pittsburgh was a passenger in a Chevy Cruze when she was fatally shot in Duquesne.

Sept. 4: Michael Barber Jr.

Michael Barber Jr., a five-month-old baby, died from abusive head trauma, according to the Allegheny County medical examiner’s office. His father, Michael Barber, 29, faces homicide charges after telling police he had shaken the infant twice. Barber pleaded guilty to third-degree murder on Aug. 5, 2024, and was sentenced to 15 to 30 years in state prison on Nov. 4, 2024.

Sept. 6: Sade Brown

Sade Lanise Brown, 33, of McKeesport died at Forbes Hospital after being shot in Braddock in a possible drive-by shooting, according to police.

Sept. 7: David L. Kelley

David L. Kelley, 27, of Pittsburgh died at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital after being stabbed in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood.

Sept. 9: Dante Jones

Dante Benjamin Jones, 34, of Pittsburgh was shot multiple times while sitting in the driver’s seat of his car at at Penn Hills gas station. An arrest warrant on a criminal homicide charge has been issued for Michael D. Wade, 36, who was apprehended in Georgia on Nov. 3.

Sept. 12: Darnell Campbell

Darnell Campbell, 32, of Sheraden was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a Sheraden street.

Sept. 21: Demetrius Pirl

Demetrius T. Pirl, 52, of Duquesne was found with multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene in Duquesne.

Sept. 24: Warnell Boyd

Warnell Boyd, 46, was found fatally shot in the doorway of a residence in Pittsburgh’s Hill District.

Sept. 27: Marcus Watts

Marcus Watts, 26, of Pittsburgh was found with multiple gunshot wounds in Pittsburgh’s St. Clair neighborhood.

Sept. 29: Rayvaughn Perkins

Rayvaughn Perkins, 25, of Penn Hills was found shot in East Liberty and died at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Marvin Roberson, 25, has been charged with criminal homicide.

Oct. 2: Carrington Keys

Carrington Keys, 41, of Pittsburgh died at Allegheny General Hospital a day after being shot in the head in Pittsburgh’s Elliott neighborhood. Donte Brewer, 40, of Pittsburgh has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide.

Oct. 4: Perry Bagley

Perry F. Bagley, 47, died at UPMC Mercy Hospital after being found shot in a Downtown Pittsburgh alley.

Oct. 12: Jahlil Smith

Jahlil Lee Smith, 26, of Pittsburgh died after being shot multiple times in Penn Hills. Dominic Saunders, 23, of Penn Hills has been charged with criminal homicide.

Oct. 15: Betty Averytt

Betty J. Averytt, 59, died after being shot at a bus stop. Police say she was a bystander hit after an argument turned into a shooting at a nearby convenience store. Jaylone D. Hines, 21, of Pittsburgh has been charged with homicide in the case.

Oct. 15: Jacquelyn Mehalic

Jacquelyn C. Mehalic, 33, of Muncy died at Allegheny General Hospital after being shot in the chest at a bus stop. Police say she was a bystander hit after an argument turned into a shooting at a nearby convenience store. Jaylone D. Hines, 21, of Pittsburgh has been charged with homicide in the case.

Oct. 15: John Hornezes

John Hornezes, 20, of Pittsburgh’s North Side died in a shooting near a convenience store in which two innocent bystanders were also killed, according to police. Charron Troutman, 19, of Pittsburgh has been charged with homicide in Hornezes’ death. Samuel Pegues, 30, of Pittsburgh has also been charged with homicide in the incident.

Oct. 21: Dwight Nolan

Dwight Nolan, 31, of Penn Hills was shot and killed in a house after someone shot two unoccupied cars in Penn Hills.

Oct. 24: Leodis Heards

Leodis Heards, 58, of Wilkinsburg was found shot to death in a vehicle in Wilkinsburg.

Oct. 25: Durobb Johnson

Durobb Johnson, 18, died after being shot multiple times in Duquesne. He was found slumped over the driver’s wheel of a car. An arrest warrant has been issued for William McClain, 18, of Duquesne on a criminal homicide charge.

Oct. 25: Omar McCord Jr.

Omar McCord Jr., 18, died after being shot in Pittsburgh’s Highland Park neighborhood. Deashawn Watson, 20, of Braddock was arrested on Nov. 9, 2022, on a criminal homicide charge.

Noah Wilkerson, 29, of Pittsburgh was found with a gunshot wound in a vehicle in Pittsburgh’s Homewood North neighborhood.

Nov. 5: Jemar Pharr

Jemar Pharr, 38, of Pittsburgh died after being shot multiple times in Pittsburgh’s Northview Heights neighborhood. Another man was shot in the leg in the incident.

Nov. 7: Jared Goodwine

Jared Lamont Goodwine, 21, of Pittsburgh was found fatally shot with multiple gunshot wounds inside a car in Pittsburgh’s Stanton Heights neighborhood. Miara Morgan-Graham, 19, of Homewood and Klinton McLaughlin III, 18, of Stowe have been charged with homicide and ordered to stand trial.

Nov. 8: Brandon Robinson Jr.

Brandon Robinson Jr., 19, of Pittsburgh died from a gunshot wound to the trunk in Pittsburgh’s Knoxville neighborhood.

Nov. 9: Dorian Carver

Dorian Carver, 32, of Natrona Heights was fatally shot at a Scott Township business after an altercation with his manager at Taco Bell. Police say Zairye Simmons, 23, of Pittsburgh has been charged with homicide.

Nov. 10: Victor Sawyer

Victor Sawyer, 52, of Pittsburgh was found stabbed to death inside a home in Pittsburgh’s Knoxville neighborhood.

Nov. 15: Marcel Thompson

Marcel Thompson, 65, of Verona died after being stabbed outside an apartment in West Mifflin. Robert Anger, 19, of Homestead has been charged with criminal homicide.

Nov. 16: Vincent Roebuck

Vincent Roebuck, 72, died after being fatally stabbed. His son, Javon Taylor, 31, has been charged with homicide, with police saying Taylor stabbed his wheelchair-bound father because “he was frustrated, cold and wanted a cigarette.”

Nov. 17: Dorian Serrano

Dorian Serrano, 18, of Clairton was last seen on June 14 and his body was found Nov. 17 in a wooded area along the Montour Trail. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office said he had been shot and ruled the death a homicide. Daniel Kelly, 22, was arrested on Jan. 8, 2024, and charged with criminal homicide.

Nov. 21: Walter Sloan

Walter Sloan, 40, of Verona died after being shot several times on the front porch of a home in Wilkinsburg.

Nov. 24: Adrianna Taylor

Adrianna Kiri Taylor, 23, of Cleveland was found shot to death in the backyard of a Wilkinsburg home. Anthony Kennedy, 43, of Cleveland is wanted in connection with the case.

Nov. 30: Meiko Devaughn

Meiko Devaughn was found with a gunshot wound to the head in Pittsburgh’s Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood. Pittsburgh police charged Jason Woodall, 29, with criminal homicide.

Dec. 1: Kaari Thompson

Kaari Thompson, 4, of Pittsburgh died after being shot outside a Pittsburgh grocery store. Her mother, Temani Lewis, died from her wounds five days after the shooting. Marquise Giver, 21, and Tarrell Jennings, 19, have been charged with homicide in the killing of Thompson and her mother.

Temani Lewis, 21, of Pittsburgh died five days after being shot in the head in a Lincoln-Lemington shooting that killed her 4-year-old daughter.

Chance Naylor, 16, of McKeesport died in the emergency room at UPMC McKeesport after being shot in the head.

Corey Washington, 36, of Pittsburgh died at Allegheny General Hospital after being shot in Brighton Heights. Ambrose J. Sample, 42, was arrested on Jan. 24, 2023, and charged with homicide.
