4 new faces will join Bethel Park council

Bethel Park Council will have four new members next year as complete but unofficial returns have come in from the Allegheny County Office of Elections.

Republican John Oaks defeated Democrat Danielle Gosnell in Ward 3 by a vote tally of 685 to 627.

Democrat Joe Janosik defeated Republican Donald Harrison in Ward 5 by a vote tally of 563 to 534.

Democrat Lindsay Flinn defeated Republican Justin Tiano in Ward 9 by a vote tally of 584 to 509.

Councilman Joseph A. Consolmagno ran unopposed on both tickets to retain his Ward 1 seat. He earned 739 votes. There were 9 write-ins.

David C. Espinar was unopposed on both tickets for the Ward 7 seat. He earned 999 votes. There were 14 write-ins.

Mayor Jack Allen ran unopposed for another four-year term. He received 8,891 votes. There were 155 write-ins.
