Goat Fest

The annual Goat Fest is from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday on the South Side at South Side Park.

Friends of South Side Park brought in goats from Allegheny Goatscape as part of an ecological restoration effort. The animals eat invasive plants. There will be more than 30 vendors in an artisan market, live music, a goat-themed puzzle adventure through the park, tree adoptions, face painting, a petting zoo, inflatable slide, and guided tree plantings.

Parking is available at 21st Street and Josephine Street. There is a free shuttle.

The majority of the event takes place at the Arlington Ball Field behind the Arlington Fire Station.

The event is free, but donations are welcome.
