Coronavirus case found at South Fayette intermediate, school to remain open

A person in the South Fayette School District intermediate school who was at the campus on Friday tested positive for coronavirus.

The school will remain open. The person, who was not identified, has been following isolation protocols outlined by the Allegheny County Health Department and close contacts have been notified, said Ken Lockette, district superintendent,

The school district is monitoring this situation and will notify staff and families if more actions are necessary, Lockette said in a statement.
