A portion of Millers Run Road in South Fayette will be closed Nov. 11-21 and Dec. 1-20 for maintenance of a railroad structure that runs overhead.

Millers Run Road between Sygan Road and Presto-Sygan Road in South Fayette reopened Oct. 13 but will close again Nov. 11-21 and Dec. 1-20.

The closure dates (originally Oct. 1-Nov. 1) have changed because of delays in acquiring parts for railroad work.

The official detour uses Route 50 east and west. No traffic will be permitted to drive through the closure zone. Sygan Road and Presto-Sygan Road will remain accessible to and from Millers Run Road.

Railroad crews will be performing maintenance work to the railroad structure above Millers Run Road.

South Fayette Township is not involved in the work.
