Accepted to Kutztown

Genevieve Krueger will enter Kutztown University in Berks County in the fall as the newest member of the Golden Bear family. The fall semester begins Aug. 30.

Chiropractic intern

Kayla Garbera is now seeing patients at the Sherman College Chiropractic Health Center, a teaching clinic in South Carolina for senior students in their final stage of internship prior to graduation from the doctor of chiropractic program.

The teaching environment at the Health Center, coordinated by licensed doctors of chiropractic, allows interns to practice chiropractic under close supervision and constant consultation.

Academic achievements

The following students from the area were recognized for their academic achievement during the spring 2021 semester by being named to the dean’s, president’s or provost’s list at the college or university they attend:

• Gettysburg College: Abigail Minzer, MaKayla Walker

The following area students recently graduated from college, university, trade school or military training:

• Frostburg State University: Ryan Roell

• Rochester Institute of Technology: Jay Mantini, Michael Begg
