Body of missing Stowe woman found

Allegheny County Police are seeking information on Patricia Moran, 64, last seen at her home in Stowe on July 25, 2021.

The death of a 64-year-old Stowe Township woman, reported missing July 28 after family members had not seen or heard from her in three days, is under investigation by the county coroner.

Allegheny County Police were seeking information last week on the whereabouts of Patricia Moran, 64. She was last seen July 25 at her home on the 300 block of Wheeler Street.

Moran was found unresponsive shortly before 11 p.m., July 30 in a wooded area near Duke Street, less than a half-mile from her home.

Allegheny County Police and the Office of the Allegheny County Medical Examiner are continuing the investigation into Moran’s death.
