As of Dec. 16, there have been 933 total cases of the novel coronavirus in Shaler since March, according to the latest information provided by an interactive Allegheny County covid-19 map. The township has reported 12 deaths, and 6,029 residents have been tested.

Since the pandemic began, Etna has had 94 cases (no deaths), Millvale has had 93 cases (one death) and Reserve has had 92 cases (two deaths).
