Bethel Park Mayor Jack Allen (center, with scissors) gets ready to cut the ribbon for the new Dunkin’ “Next Generation” store on South Park Road.

Dunkin’s western Pennsylvania expansion continues, as it opened another “Next Generation” store, this time in Bethel Park. The new store opened at the end of last month and is designed in the brand’s “store of the future” concept, with a modern atmosphere, and new and innovative technologies and design elements.

Located at 2777 South Park Road, it is the 66th store owned by Heartland Restaurant Group, and the fourth store they’ve opened in the region this year. Thirty new full-time and part-time jobs are being created because of the new location, and this is the second Dunkin’ store located in Bethel Park, according to a news release.

“We’re very excited to bring a new Next Generation Dunkin’ location to Bethel Park,” said Anthony Braun, COO and CFO of Heartland Restaurant Group, a Dunkin’ franchisee. “We’re proud of the growth that Dunkin’ and Heartland Restaurant Group has continued to see throughout the past few years and has planned for the future.”

Amenities include a new cold beverage tap system to enhance freshness, as well as front glass donut cases that provide an up-close look at the delicious confections. Other new additions include high volume coffee brewers to make getting a cup of coffee faster than ever before and comfortable seating for customers.
