Cub Scouts from Pack 381, along with friends, worked to rid Sharpsburg streets of litter on May 11, 2019.

Boy Scout Pack 381, along with friends, family and other local scout members, helped spruce up Sharpsburg by collecting litter from the streets near Camp Guyasuta on May 11.

Their spring clean-up efforts at Guyasuta Run, along 23rd Street, netted about 600 pounds of trash, Mayor Matt Rudzki said.

Tires, broken chairs and other garbage was removed by the volunteers along Guyasuta Run, which sits behind the business park near the newly constructed bridge that connects Aspinwall and Sharpsburg.
