One of Allegheny County Parks most well-attended events is coming to Hartwood Acres on July 22.

Tickets are on sale for the Allegheny County Wine & Spirits Festival, County Executive Rich Fitzgerald announced.

The event includes an afternoon of wine and spirits, food trucks, and live music. There are two sessions available: 2-5 p.m. or 5:30-8:30 p.m. The festival will take place on the mansion lawn.

“Now in its third year, the county Wine & Spirits Festival has become one of our most well-attended events,” Fitzgerald said May 12.

Fitzgerald said the event has sold out in the past.

”If you’re interested in attending, get your tickets now,” he said.

Hartwood’s 1920s Tudor mansion will serve as the backdrop for sampling of the best of wineries and distilleries in our region. Food can be purchased from food trucks.

Distilleries, Cideries, and Wineries confirmed so far as attending include: Bella Terra Vineyards, Black Dog Wine Company, KingView Mead, Wine, Hard Cider, Mazzotta Winery, Pittsburgh Winery, Refucilo Winery, Wine O’Clock Somewhere Winery, Boyd & Blair, Maggie’s Farm, Lucky Sign Spirits, Quantum Spirits, Threadbare, and Wigle Whiskey.

Live entertainment will be provided by Samantha Sears.

Presale tickets are available now for $20 and may be purchased online at https://www.alleghenycounty.us/special-events/wine—-spirits-festival.aspx. Prices will go up June 20 at midnight to $30. Designated drivers and those under 21 are free. Valid proof of age must be provided at the event to sample.
