Etna Farmers Market returns this week with bushels of fresh lettuce, beans and baked goods.

The market runs 3 to 6:30 p.m. Thursdays in the empty lot near the municipal building along Butler Street.

Hosted by the Etna Economic Development Corporation and the borough, the market features local vendors selling prepared foods, raw honey, preserves, fruit wines, lemonade, spices, books and more.

Gibsonia-based Dillner Family Farms will offer a weekly or bi-weekly Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program where shoppers can buy farm harvests all summer long.

Borough Manager Mary Ellen Ramage said the market also will accept WIC produce vouchers.

Anyone interested in setting up a vendor booth can contact Market Manager Mike Niederriter at mniederriter@yahoo.com.
