Fox Chapel Area High School alumni gather in Lawrenceville for 20th reunion
More than 120 Fox Chapel Area High School alumni took a trip down memory lane Nov. 30 to celebrate the Class of 2004’s 20th reunion.
The celebration, co-organzied by Todd Feiler and Darla Shay Whitlock, was held at Lawrence Hall in Lawrenceville.
Both deemed the event a great success, with some attendees adjusting their Thanksgiving holiday plans and flying in from Boston, Washington, D.C., and New York City to be there.
“It was overall a great night. Any other day, we might actively try to avoid former classmates at the Giant Eagle or Mad Mex,” Whitlock said. “But that night, we actually wanted to spend time with each other. I think it’s a testament to 2004 having a great class.”
The reunion was co-sponsored by various alumni-owned businesses, including Steinhaus Insurance Group, Press House Coffee, Refreshed Aesthetics, the Elizabeth Kofmehl Team and Resnick Roofing & Contracting.
“It was much less awkward that I anticipated,” Marita Bradley said.
The Class of 2004 plans to host a 25th reunion in 2029.
