Fox Chapel Area High School crowns 2024 Homecoming king and queen

Members of the 2024 Fox Chapel Area Homecoming Court stepping out in all their finery Sept. 13 are (front) Remi Kurzdorfer, who was named princess, and Vincent Corcoran, who was named prince; and (from left) Christian Dantey, Ava Persichetti, Chase Hendren, Maurena Cilenti, Caden Kaiser, Isabella Cheatham, Nick Ingramm and Emma Donovan. Dantey and Persichetti were crowned king and queen. The only blip in the day’s festivities was the football team’s loss to Penn Hills, 54-0.
Homecoming happenings were in full swing Sept. 13 as the annual Fox Chapel Area Community Carnival kicked off an evening of festivities in the district.
The carnival was held on the front lawn and parking lot of Fox Chapel Area High School’s campus.
Activities included a petting zoo, live music performed by faculty and students, food trucks, a bouncy house and a giant slide.
