O'Hara residents can schedule curbside yard waste pick-up
Friday is the last day for O’Hara residents to request a June 19 yard waste pick-up.
The township’s special collection happens once a month from May to September but residents have to be on the Waste Management schedule in advance.
Yard waste includes leaves in biodegradable bags, garden residue, shrub trimmings, limbs, twigs and brush.
Grass clippings will not be accepted.
All tree trimmings and limbs have to be less than four-feet long and three-inches wide.
Material should be tied in bundles.
Curbside collection will occur again July 17, Aug. 21 and Sept. 18. Residents have to call-in at least 10 days in advance to be on the list.
To request a pick-up, call 412-784-1784, ext. 203 by 4 p.m. Friday.
