Shady Side Academy Middle School performed their winter student musical, “Mary Poppins Jr.” on Feb. 24 at the middle school.

A cast of 19 students from grades 6-8 entertained the audience with classic songs “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” and “Practically Perfect” and “Spoonful of Sugar.”

Mary Poppins, played by seventh-grader Ozge Uzman, was joined by eighth-grader and co-lead Harry McElhattan as Bert, the chimney sweeper.

The show is based on the award-winning Broadway musical and Disney film.
