Activities at Sharpsburg Community Library can be registered for by calling 412-781-0783.
• Green Grocer, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 12. Buy fruits, vegetables and herbs from the truck that visits weekly. It will be in the library parking lot at 1212 Main St.
• PA CareerLink Mobile Office, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 13. Staff will answer questions about the PA CareerLink website, as well as services including training and free GED classes.
• DIY Afterdark, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 14. This month’s program is Sharpie fabric dyeing on a tote, shirt or other fabric items. Free, but bring an item. For adults and children 15 and older.
• Maker Mondays will be from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. for children kindergarten age and older.
• STEAM Lab will be from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays for students in second grade and above.
