Fugitive taken into custody at Pine Township home after domestic dispute
A Pine Township man who was wanted on outstanding warrants was arrested Wednesday following a domestic disturbance.
James Lee-Livingston, 28, was wanted by Pittsburgh police on drug- and firearms-related charges stemming from a July 10 incident in the city. He had been a fugitive since a bench warrant was issued for a probation violation connected to a December guilty plea involving a charge of driving under the influence.
According to authorities, Lee-Livingston was involved in a domestic dispute Wednesday that drew a large police presence to his home. He was able to avoid police and remained at large until Wednesday evening, according to Allegheny County Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus.
Kraus said detectives from his office set up surveillance at the home and saw Lee-Livingston come outside at about 6:30 p.m. and get into a car with an Uber driver.
When detectives stopped the vehicle in the driveway, Lee-Livingston fled on foot, running through the backyard, where he was taken into custody, Kraus said.
Lee-Livingston was taken to the Allegheny County Jail, where is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
