Wyland Elementary students headed to states in Odyssey of the Mind tournament

The Hampton Township School District’s Odyssey of the Mind program had seven teams from Central, Poff and Wyland Elementary Schools participated in the regional Odyssey of the Mind tournament held at Keystone Oaks High School. The Wyland balsa team took first place in their division and will go to the state tournament in the Poconos on April 6. Team members are: Coach Colleen Turcsanyi, left, Giovanni Valenti, Braden Krysinski, Levi White, Andy Yu, Caroline Sullivan, Teagan Turcsanyi and Ashley Rothenberg. This is the third year in a row that Wyland’s balsa teams have placed at regionals and gone to the state tournament.

The Wyland balsa team took first place in their divsion and will go to the state tournament in the Poconos on April 6.
