Yoga in the park is returning to Devlin Pavilion behind McCandless Town Hall in the recreation complex.
The classes will run every Saturday from June 17 through September 2 at 9 a.m. The class will be followed by tours of the UPMC Fitness Court.
Participants should bring a yoga mat or heavy towel or small rug and water and dress casually.
The event is free and open to all levels and all ages. A donation suggested.
Wall Park in McCandless will close Monday, June 19 for construction, and it will remain closed for the remainder of the season.
The park fields will be under major construction and the parking areas will be used to store equipment and materials. The entire park will be closed for safety reasons.
The first drive-in movie to be shown at the Heritage and Cultural Center parking lot at 830 Aufman Lane in McCandless will be “Back to the Future” on June 17.
The cost is $15 per car.
Movies will start at 8 p.m. Concessions will be available to purchase.
Kennywood summer park discount tickets are available at the Franklin Park Borough Municipal Building. Discount tickets can be purchased by cash, or check only. Credit cards are not accepted at this time, but will be in the near future.

The Bradford Woods Volunteer Fire Company will host a Touch a Truck event from 2-4 p.m. June 17 at 4908 Wexford Run Road.
The event offers family-friendly fun and an opportunity for residents to see with the fire company is all about.
Pine Creek Land Conservation Trust, North Area Environmental Council and Friends of North Park are hosting an event at 7:30 p.m. June 27 at the Rose Barn in North Park. Park Ranger Samuel Shephard will present information and photos on the Hidden Gems of North Park. The event is free and open to the public.
