Trick-or-treat
Bethel Park’s trick-or-treat will be held from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.
Halloween Spooktacular Parade
Bethel Park’s Halloween Spooktacular Parade starts at 9 a.m. Oct. 28.
The parade will have two routes, North and South, with a variety of special vehicles and surprises for the kids along the way. Routes are available on the municipal Facebook page and at www.bethelpark.net.
Can’t make the parade? It will be carried live on the municipal and BPTV Facebook pages.
Boos and Bites debuts
Boos and Bites, Bethel Park’s first wine, cider and spirits festival, is scheduled for Oct 28.
The Halloween-themed event at Bethel Park Community Center includes a costume contest, photo booth, live music from Day One and more.
Tickets include admission to the event and a souvenir glass. Discounted tickets are available for designated drivers and other alcohol-free individuals.
Two sessions are available, from 3 to 5 and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Guests can select a limited-access VIP ticket that includes access for the entirety of the event, a special reserved room and light appetizers.
The festival is a tasting-only event. Bottles may be purchased from vendors and consumed off site. Participants must be 21 with valid proof of age provided at the event for admittance

Blood drive
Our Lady of Hope Parish will hold a blood drive from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 4 in Frawley Hall at St. Valentine Church, 2700 Ohio St., Bethel Park.

College Club meets
The College Club of Carnegie will meet Nov. 4 at Bella’s, 91 Fort Couch Road, Bethel Park.
There will be a social preceding lunch at noon. “Luncheon of Thanksgiving” will feature entertainment by jazz singer Lydia Marks.

Allegheny Land Trust programs
The Bethel Park Historical Society is supporting an event series with Allegheny Land Trust to benefit Bethel Park residents. Programs are at the historical society headquarters, 2600 South Park Road, except where indicated:
• Can You Plant a Pizza?, 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. Nov. 20
• Creating Backyard Habitats, 6 to 7 p.m. Nov. 20
• First Friday Hike, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 1 at Bethel Green Conservation Area.

Women’s Bible study
South Hills Church of the Nazarene, 5601 Library Road, Bethel Park, is offering Women’s Evening Bible Study at 7 p.m. the first and third Fridays of each month.

‘Miracle on Main Street’
South Hills Church of the Nazarene’s Acting Up Club will present the musical “Miracle on Main Street” at 6 p.m. Dec. 9 and 10.
The church is at 5601 Library Road, Bethel Park. Admission is free, and a cookie reception will follow the performances to meet and greet the performers and staff.
