Banner Community
The Municipality of Bethel Park has recently been named a ‘2021 Banner Community’ by the Allegheny League of Municipalities.
A recognition will be held at the upcoming ALOM Educational Conference scheduled for June 17-20.
The Banner Community Program recognizes communities that show a commitment to professional development, prudent fiscal management, transparency, accountability and proactive communications to engage community stakeholders.
“This is a validation of all the hard work Bethel Park municipal employees, municipal council and the mayor put in every day for our community,” said Bethel Park municipal manager Laurence Christian. “To be one of the communities recognized in this program is a great distinction!”
Bethel Park is one of 54 municipalities that received the Banner Designation for multiple years, and one of the 71 municipalities and five municipal authorities recognized this year.
