Drug, fraud, theft cases among those recently handled in Judge Jeffrey Herbst’s Monroeville court

Monroeville District Court Judge Jeffrey Herbst handled these cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.

Held for court

• Kimberly Noiler, 31, of Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood on charges of retail theft and flight to avoid apprehension. Charges were filed March 16.

Waived for court

• Vincent Roberto, 43, of Plum on charges of the manufacturing and possession of drugs with intent to deliver, possession of a weapon, repairing or selling an offensive weapon, possession of a controlled substance and failing to stop at a stop sign. Charges were filed July 22.

• Justina Herrle, 28, of Baldwin on charges of possession of a controlled substance, retail theft, disorderly conduct and driving under a revoked or suspended license. Charges were filed Oct. 24.

• Jodi L. White, 48, of Monroeville on a charge of DUI. The charge was filed July 4.

• Brandon Michael Oberley, 37, of Southwest, Pa., on charges of the use and possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, DUI and driving without a license. Charges were filed June 13.

• David Marc Lovic, 46, of Monroeville on charges of public drunkenness, having an open container in a vehicle and DUI. Charges were filed May 4.

• Guy A. Catone, 79, of Pittsburgh’s Shady Side neighborhood on charges of criminal conspiracy, refusal to keep records, two counts of knowingly or intentionally possessing a controlled or counterfeit substance, two counts of filing a fraudulent insurance claim and seven counts of administering a controlled substance. Charges were filed Aug. 11.

• Brenden Slack, 27, of Monroeville on charges of disorderly conduct and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Charges were filed Aug. 23.

• Brian McCleary, 41, of Slickville on charges of possession of a controlled substance and driving under a revoked or suspended license. Charges were filed July 8.
