Tony Borelle, 63, of North Versailles tries to hook a trout at a fishing hole along Turtle Creek in Monroeville on April 27.

Tony Borelle, 63, of North Versailles took advantage of warm, sunny weather on an April day to fish along Turtle Creek in Monroeville.

The retiree says he spends a lot of time fishing for trout in the creek. On this particular day, he hadn’t caught anything but remained hopeful as he had seen several fish in the hole he was fishing.

The fishing hole was off the Westmoreland Heritage Trail, not far from the Saunders Station Road parking lot.
