Monroeville council unanimously approved contracts to move ahead with the summer’s road paving project.

The $1.3 million project includes paving, sealcoat, crackseal and fog seal on 62 municipal roads and two parking lots, totaling 24 miles.

The total miles being paved this year is around four miles, according to a municipal resurfacing program document. The majority of the roads, nine miles, will receive a crackseal treatment, which is used to fill cracks on roads.

Below is a full list of the roads and parking lots slated for resurfacing:

• Knollwood Drive, from Saunders Station Road to the end

• Larix Drive, from Pinefrost Drive to the end

• Noel Drive, from College Park Drive to Hochberg Road

• Old Dominion Drive, from Pendelton Drive to the end
