There have been 23 positive cases of covid-19 in Monroeville, according to latest state and county figures.

Pitcairn, a borough surrounded by Monroeville and within the Gateway School District, reports one positive case.

The county’s map also shows there have been 384 tests given in Monroeville and 42 in Pitcairn.

Another map from the Pennsylvania Department of Health displays data broken down by ZIP code. The map is consistent with the county’s data, however it includes the number of negative tests for 15146 (Monroeville) and 15140 (Pitcairn).

In Monroeville, 365 have come back negative.

In Pitcairn, 42 have come back negative.

Nate Wardle, a state department of health spokesman, said data is not provided for ZIP codes with 1-4 cases, in order to protect patient privacy.

“That is why it indicates redacted, 1-4 cases. It means the number is non-zero, but also not five or more,” he said.
