A series of promotional videos produced at no cost to Monroeville have been prominently positioned on the municipality’s website.

The videos, produced by CGI Communications of Rochester, N.Y., were financially supported by advertisements purchased by local businesses.

There are seven short videos that feature Monroeville officials talking about the community. Those aspects include recreation amenities, the business district, education, history, healthcare and community organizations.

Manager Tim Little said the company approached him in March with the idea.

“It’s a promotional tool for the municipality,” he said. “If any realtor, business person, developer, etc. wants to show a client information about Monroeville, they can just direct them to the video on the website.”

Little said the videos will appear prominently on Monroeville’s website for a few months, until it takes a less visible spot elsewhere on the site.
