1 injured in shooting in McKees Rocks
Allegheny County police are investigating a shooting Tuesday evening in McKees Rocks that sent a man to an area hospital.
The man, who arrived at the hospital by private vehicle, was in stable condition with gunshot wounds to his legs, police said.
The shooting was reported shortly after 7:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Bell Avenue.
Anyone with information is asked to call the county police tip line, 1-833-ALL-TIPS (255-8477). Callers can remain anonymous.
Pittsburgh police: Missing 11-year-old safe
An 11-year-old girl who was missing from Pittsburgh’s Middle Hill neighborhood has been found and is safe, police said.
Te’Aja Parrotte had been missing, police said, after she ran out of a house in the 700 block of Junilla Street at 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Unresponsive infant in Pittsburgh’s Hill District taken to hospital
An 11-month-old girl was taken to a local hospital after a near drowning Tuesday in Pittsburgh’s Hill District, according to city Public Safety spokesperson Cara Cruz.
City police responded shortly before 7:30 a..m. to a report that the girl was unresponsive in the 1500 block of Centre Avenue.
When medics arrived, the baby was in cardiac arrest and she was taken to the hospital in critical condition, Cruz said.
Special Victims and Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
