Teenager shot in Clairton
A 16-year-old boy was found shot in Clairton early Friday, Allegheny County Police said.
The victim was shot in the leg in the 1100 block of North Sixth Street at about 3 a.m., police said. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was reported in stable condition.
Allegheny County detectives were assisting Clairton police in the investigation.

Man charged in Butler County murder
A 22-year-old man has been jailed on accusations that he fatally shot a man in a northern Butler County town Thursday night, state police at Butler said.
The suspect, Dakota B. Hughes of Eau Claire, is charged in the death of Seth T. Gooden Smith, 28, of Polk, Venango County, whom police said was shot multiple times around 7:40 p.m. in a residence at 129 E. Main St., Eau Claire, police said.
Hughes was placed in the Butler County Jail pending an arraignment in the case.
