MURRYSVILLE

Murrysville recreation officials will host the municipality’s annual Spring Egg Hunt for both children and dogs on April 12 at Murrysville Community Park.

The dog egg hunt will be at 6:30 p.m. Dogs will be divided into groups according to size to search for eggs in the dog park. All dogs must be leashed.

The children’s egg hunt will be at 7:30 p.m. in Leftwich Pavilion at the park, 3056 Wiestertown Road, Murrysville.

Children will be divided into three age groups. Twenty-four eggs have a special golden coin inside, which can be redeemed for a prize.

All dogs, and the first 300 pre-registered children, will receive a treat bag, and the Easter Bunny will be available for photos.

Recreation officials are also seeking volunteers for the hunt. To volunteer, or for more information, call 724-327-2100, ext. 115 or 131.

DELMONT

In Delmont, the recreation board’s annual Easter Egg Hunt is set for noon April 20 at Newhouse Park off Stotler Road.

Refreshments will be provided by the Salvation Army. Delmont Public Library officials will lead children in a craft at 11:30 a.m., and children will hunt for eggs in three age groups up to age 10.
