The Franklin Regional 10U travel baseball team went undefeated over the weekend of July 7-9 and brought home a championship from the Seneca Valley 10U Summer Slam Baseball Tournament.

The team beat Peters Township and Beaver to lock up the tournament’s first seed and won three games on July 9 against Seneca Valley, Peters and Beaver again.

After jumping out to an early 6-1 lead in the championship, the Beaver team battled back to tie it at 7-7 and ultimately come out on top, 9-8, in extra innings.

Team members are Shane Cyprowski, Brayden Slavonic, Luke Rodgers, Wesley Scriven, Henry Devett, Jaxon Wyles, Lucas Mannetti, Kevin Pokrzywinski, Hunter Key and Dylan Johnson.

The team wrapped up its tournament season July 13-16 at the Fox Chapel Aloha Fest. Results from that tournament were not available by the deadline for this issue.
