The Murrysville Area chapter of AAUW announced its executive board for 2020-21.

Janet Sutton will serve as president, Diane Conway will continue as programs vice-president, Carol Gezon will continue as finance officer, Laura Livingston will serve as membership vice-president and Diane Kaufmann will serve as secretary.

Outgoing officers include Celine Kandala and Jean Bohinc.

Megan Remaley of Murrysville earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Ian McCamy of Export earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Harding University in Searcy, Ark.

McCamy will be recognized during an Aug. 15 virtual graduation ceremony.

• The Murrysville-Export Rotary Club inducted its 2020-21 officers on July 15. They include president John Hartman, president-elect Ellen Cruse, Gene Ciafre (vocational services), Pat Shaffer (international service), Jim Walko (advisor), Dennis Gounley (club service), Noreen Olszewski (youth service), Ann Pauly (treasurer) and Lane Neff (secretary).

The club also inducted new member Jennifer Claydon.

Bennett Verona of Murrysville was named to the spring 2020 dean’s list at the University of Alabama.

Jack Strobel of Export was named to the spring 2020 dean’s list at the University of Kentucky.

Lindsay Cummins was named to the spring 2020 dean’s list at the University of Delaware.

Brenden Beaver was named to the spring 2020 dean’s list at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y.

Nick Loyacona of Murrysville earned his juris doctor this spring from the Notre Dame Law School.

Anamta Raza and Maria Cefola of Export, and Abigail Krefta, Hannah Fierle and Jamie Bromberger of Murrysville were named to the spring 2020 dean’s list at Chatham University in Pittsburgh.

Ellen Gray of Murrysville earned a master’s degree in business administration this spring from the University of Alabama.

Esther Lee of Export was named a recipient of the dean’s award with distinction for the fall 2019 semester at Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y.

Justin Moser of Murrysville was inducted into the Tau Pi Phi chapter at Marietta College in Ohio this spring.

Moser is pursuing a degree in finance and management.
