Who doesn’t enjoy an evening of forcing friends and family members into fictional abject poverty?

There’s no more satisfying feeling than forcing your grandmother into bankruptcy during a heated game of “Monopoly,” is there?

Okay, perhaps that’s a bit harsh, but even if the cutthroat capitalism of Rich Uncle Pennybags isn’t your thing, area residents are still invited to take part in several other classic board games during the Murrysville Community Library’s “Game Day” on Jan. 19.

Patrons ages 5 and older are invited to play board games provided by the library, or to bring their own from 2 to 4 pm.

The library is at 4130 Sardis Road.
