New Franklin Regional school board members will be sworn in Dec. 5
Newly elected Franklin Regional school board members will be sworn in at the board’s December meeting. The Dec. 5 meeting is shifted from the traditional Monday time slot because district staff and officials still will be on Thanksgiving break.
The meeting will encompass board reorganization as well as both the committee-of-the-whole and voting meetings. The board will meet only once in December.
Its next regular date will be a committee-of-the-whole meeting on Jan. 6, 2020.
It will be at 7:30 p.m. at the Murrysville municipal building, 4100 Sardis Road. Meetings are broadcast on Comcast local access Channel 19.
Outgoing board members include Dennis Pavlik, Dr. Larry Borland, John Koury and Jane Tower. New members are Gary English, Ed Mittereder, Scott Weinman, and Bill Yant. Incumbents Herb Yingling and Debra Wohlin both secured new terms on the board.
