News briefs: In-person church services return; community holiday dinner on tap

Glenshaw Presbyterian Church at 300 Glenn Ave. has resumed in-person worship service.
Parishioners are welcome to attend at 10:30 a.m. Sundays but must follow social-distancing guidelines and wear masks.

Thanksgiving dinner slated
Glenshaw Valley Presbyterian Church will host its annual community Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 26.
Doors open at noon. Reservations are required because of covid-19 restrictions.

Harvest Fair open
The Harvest Fair of Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church is open for shopping from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays through Dec. 12.
The fair features furniture, housewares, jewelry, crystal, linens, books, holiday decorations, toys and collectibles.

Divorce workshop on tap
An online divorce workshop is scheduled from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 14.
The three-hour workshop will provide education on the legal, financial and emotional issues associated with divorce.
The cost is $15 per person, and registration is required by Nov. 12 to Donna at 724-493-9695. Once registered, instructions will be emailed.
Women’s Business Network to meet
The Cranberry Chapter of the Women’s Business Network meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:30 a.m. in Cranberry United Presbyterian Church, 2662 Rochester Road, Cranberry. The Criders Corners Chapter meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at noon at The Sports Grille, 1294 Freedom Road, Cranberry Township.

Etna leaf collection scheduled
Leaf collection in Etna will run through Nov. 20.
Residents should place leaf piles at the curb and make sure vehicles are moved from sweeping areas.
The schedule followed by public works will be: Mondays — Bittner Plan; Tuesdays — Dewey and Vilsack streets; Wednesdays — Pine to Walnut streets and all roads in between, and Kittanning Street to Griesmere Street area; Thursdays — Parker and Washington streets; and Fridays — Cherry and Sycamore streets.
