The Shaler North Hills Library has suspended in-house visits because of the region’s rising covid-19 numbers.

It will still offer Park & Pickup Service to deliver materials to cars, as well as other services.

Wreath sales benefit library

Support the Shaler North Hills Library by purchasing a wreath decorated by the Shaler Garden Club members.

The cost is $35 for a live green wreath from McTighe’s Garden Center.

Online kids cooking program on tap

The Shaler North Hills Library will host a cooking program for kids, via Facebook and YouTube, at 1 p.m. Dec. 12.

Fun Food for Kids with Miss Eileen will teach simple techniques for fixing foods that are fun to eat.

In this session, children will learn to make a Ho Ho Reindeer.

Harvest Fair paused

The appointment-only Harvest Fair at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church is on hold for the next few weeks because of the new Allegheny County covid-19 guidelines.

Women’s Business Network meetings include virtual option

The Cranberry Chapter of the Women’s Business Network meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7:30 a.m. in Cranberry United Presbyterian Church, 2662 Rochester Road, Cranberry.
