An Allegheny County Police SWAT team responded to a home on Sunday afternoon in North Braddock after a man reported that a home invasion was taking place, according to authorities.

At the request of borough police, county SWAT officers and emergency medical services were dispatched to a home at around 12:35 p.m. in the 400 block of Price Avenue, authorities said.

The homeowner, who was not in the residence at the time, reported that cameras installed inside the house showed two masked men, one of whom was armed with a pistol.

He told police that the men inside the house disabled the video on the cameras but he still was able to hear them through the audio system.

The SWAT team deployed gas for several hours but got no response from inside the house, investigators said.

Officers entered the house shortly before 5:30 p.m. but there was nobody inside.

No injured reported.

The incident is still being investigated, police said.
