North Allegheny among 12 districts in state chided by auditor general for unnecessary tax hikes

Pennsylvania Auditor General Timothy L. DeFoor on Jan. 25 released the results of audits conducted on the finances of 12 school districts in Pennsylvania from 2018 to 2021 that found that the school districts had increased taxes during the audit years even though they had cash to cover expenses. The North Allegheny School District was one of the school districts audited.
