It’s the first weekend in March. Here are some ways to spend it.

Disney on Ice

Disney on Ice presents “Find Your Hero” at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at PPG Paints Arena, Uptown.

An immersive experience includes an adventurous Moana who sails away to the island of Motunui. There will be princesses and Mickey and Minnie and other Disney characters skating to music in the show presented by Feld Entertainment.

Tickets start at $25. Guests age 2 and older are required to have a ticket.

Records records records

The Pittsburgh Record and CD Convention spring show is Saturday at the West View Banquet Hall on Perry Highway in West View.

Vendors will sell all music genres on LPs, CDs, 45s, cassettes, posters, and new vinyl releases and music-related memorabilia. Tickets are $10 for the 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. session and free for the 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. session.

Attack Theatre

Attack Theatre’s “Rock Paper Sizzle: The Barre-Be Edition” starts at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at Attack Theatre Studios in Lawrenceville.

The evening offers an opportunity to join in the creative process of dance. Attack Theatre’s space will be transformed into a “world painted in pink,” the organizers say.

Proceeds benefit the company’s live performances and arts education programs.

Tickets are $150, $250 for VIP admission an hour earlier. A limited number of tickets for $65 are available to artists, educators, seniors and students. Guests must be at least 21 years of age.

The Ruckus Brothers

Pittsburgh’s Ruckus Brothers will present “A Celebration of the Music of Motown Records” at 8 p.m. on Saturday at the Thunderbird Cafe and Music Hall in Lawrenceville. Guests must be at least 21. The event benefits the Children’s Hospital Foundation. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $25, $20 in advance.

Seed event

The 12th annual Celebration of Seeds is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh main branch in Oakland.

Held in collaboration with Grow Pittsburgh and Phipps Conservatory, the day features seed stories, conversations with gardening experts, hands-on activities for children and teens, and a selection of free seeds for the public.

Workshops include seed starting, seed saving and organic gardening.

The event is free. Walk-ins are welcome but preregistration is highly encouraged.
