Applicants for the junior councilmember are available online and must be submitted by April 22 with an essay no longer than 300 words about why you want to serve in the position.

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Reside in McCandless

Applications also are being taken until April 22 from Ward 6 residents interested in filling a vacancy on the Environmental Advisory Committee, which helps develop and recommend policies and programs that preserve and enhance aspects of the town’s character and address environmental issues.

The person selected will serve through Aug. 31, 2020.

Completed applications for both positions can be submitted by email or sent to: Town of McCandless, 9955 Grubbs Road, Wexford, PA 15090.
