This kit is intended for adults, but all ages are welcome to participate.

Holiday Boutique

As the nights grow colder and the leaves start to turn, the Northern Tier Library starts looking forward to its Holiday Boutique. After several years of limited activity due to covid, the library is ready to splash out with a full array of decorated trees, baskets, books, tickets to cultural events and holiday items. The Holiday Boutique will run until Dec. 16. Some of this year’s items include:

• Tea time basket

• Snowy day comfort basket

• Happy New Year’s basket

• “I do” bridal basket

• Italian pasta feast basket

• Autographed books

Bids will be accepted until 5 p.m. Dec. 9 for decorated Christmas trees, and 5 p.m. Dec. 16 for all other boutique raffle items. Winners will be notified by phone the following morning. All proceeds benefit the library.

Robots & Coding Club

Stop by the library to engage with a variety of tools that will allow you to develop your skills in robotics, programming and coding. This self-guided program will be open to patrons on Nov. 21 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. This is a drop-in program for children of all ages, but we ask for registration so we know you’re coming.

Funko Pop Fun Times

Funko-licious times are in store from noon-2 p.m. Nov. 19. Decorate cake pops to look like Funko heads and craft your very own Funko figurine out of paper. The main activity during the event will be to design and build a display frame for your favorite Funko Pop figure. Be there and be square … headed. This program is for children ages 5 and up, as well as their families. Registration is required.

The Holiday Take-Home Bundle will have a variety of themed crafts to make at home and share with your family. Cookies will be offered to those who can pick up their bundle on Dec. 9 between noon and 5 p.m. If you can’t come on that date, you can still request the crafts for pickup in our lobby, but no cookies can be offered beyond this date.
