Authorities say a Carnegie woman was killed when she struck by vehicle Wednesday morning in Pittsburgh’s Point Breeze neighborhood.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Vira Petrakh, 51.

She was a pedestrian who was struck at the intersection of South Dallas Avenue and Reynolds Street at 8:45 a.m.

The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, public safety officials said.
