Driver freed after rollover crash in Penn Hills

Firefighters rescued a driver trapped in a vehicle rollover Sunday night in Penn Hills.

The wreck was reported shortly before 11 p.m. The vehicle had crashed into a parked car and rolled onto its side in the 1700 block of Leechburg Road, according to a Facebook post by the Penn Hills No. 7 Volunteer Fire Company.

The post said crews stabilized the vehicle and removed the front windshield to free the driver, who was evaluated by Penn Hills EMS.

Additional details weren’t immediately available from Penn Hills police, who are investigating.
