The West View HUB is located at 435 Perry Hwy. in West View. Hours are Monday and Wednesday, noon-6 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-noon. Email westviewhub@gmail.com for more information.

Food pantry

Open on Tuesdays from noon-2 p.m. and Thursday from 4-6 p.m.

Employment assistance

Need a job, need your resume built or refreshed? How about learning how to use LinkedIn or preparing an online application? Come to the HUB Tuesdays from noon-2 p.m., where a corporate America veteran is available to help you with anything related to applying and getting a job, including awareness of opportunities and any technological assistance you may need.

North Hills Community Outreach

Personalized help for rental and utility assistance, SNAP and unemployment benefits and more is available from 1-3 p.m. Tuesdays, no appointment necessary.

State Rep. Emily Kinkaid satellite office

First and third Tuesdays of the month from noon-6 p.m.; no appointment necessary. Get help with any state related issues or programs

Get curious — home school enrichment activities

There will be a new theme every month. Plenty of STEAM activities, access the World Book Encyclopedia Online, TeachRock, and lots more on Thursdays from 10-11:30 a.m. Contact passtheclass.wvhub@gmail for additional information.

Bring your own or play from our collection of games every Thursday at 4:30 p.m. All ages welcome.

Book & author event

Meet authors Sheri Kunkle, Mary Lynne Lorch, and Ruth Carosone, of the book “Bundles – A Journey from Despair to Hope” on Oct. 27 at 3:30 p.m. Amazon describes this book as three tales of “terror, heartbreak, deceit, rape, tragedy, despair and finding the will to survive. These are the driving forces in the lives of three very different women.”
