Coronavirus cases going up in Pine, Richland
As coronavirus cases continue to surge in Allegheny County and across the country, Pine and Richland townships are also seeing increases.
As of Dec. 15, there have been 453 total cases of the novel coronavirus in Pine Township since March, according to the latest information provided by an interactive Allegheny County covid-19 map. One death has been reported, and 3,332 tests have been administered to Pine residents.
Pine Township’s case rate is 394 per 10,000 residents.
Since the pandemic began, Richland Township has had 415 total cases of the virus. In that time, Richland has seen 32 deaths and 2,655 tests have been administered.
Richland’s case rate is 374 per 10,000 residents.
